All products in our online store come with a factory warranty and are subject to those manufacturers' policies & procedures. These warranty policies can be viewed on the
manufacturer's website or can be obtained through Pontiac Electric Motor Works, Inc. via fax or email at your request. In the event you have a product that you feel has failed under warranty, you must send it back to us using a prepaid shipping method of your choice. Upon the
manufacturer's approval of warranty, credit or replacement will be issued to you as allowed by the manufacturer. Please save your
invoice as it is required in order to process the warranty. Please include a copy of your invoice in the returning package. It is important that you realize we are not responsible for any freight charges on warranty returns or warranty replacements. In the event that a product is defective in
any way, the manufacturer will stand behind its product to the extent of their policy. Freight is not included in those policies.
Please understand that improper connection and improper voltage is the main cause of motor failure. Pontiac Electric Motor Works, Inc. highly recommends that all of our electrical products are installed by a licensed electrician. When we or any other approved warranty station inspect a motor we will know exactly what happened to that motor by looking at the winding. If there is a
manufacturer's defect, you will be granted warranty. Please check all fuses, breakers, and overloads before installing a new motor. We urge you to call us with any questions about your installation in order to avoid any unnecessary costs or inconveniences to you.
